Break Away Poem by Darnell Jordan

Break Away

Sometimes I feel my life is behind bars
No where to go
No where to sleep
Hard for me to Breath
No one misses me
I always got one Question
In my mind
Will I ever be free
Allow to see the things
I once seen,
Go to a Place
Where nobody causes
Scenes,
Where I can Say anything without the white men Beating me
Stand up for what's mines
In stop letting white people still
my shine.
Break away from this pain so that's
Blacks In whites can walk the same.
