Break Though The Night Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Break Though The Night

Break though the night I
heard the glass of night
break in silence
though no quarreling voice
or high.

Three trees together
in Hastings Gardens
whispering.

And
I said my prayers
for I had been long
in praying.'
