The memory of the autumn of my life
Leaves of colour falling from the Tree of Life
Into the peacefulness of the stream of life
The soothing touch of your hand on mine
Into the innocence of new-found love
Whispers into the middle of the night joy and sorrow
Into the majestic beauty of oneness with nature
Tears falling ever so kindly onto the softness of your face
My wondering what caused their sorrow and joy
