Breeze Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

Breeze

Rating: 5.0

O breeze!
You sing so sweet
In the summer
In the sweltering heat.

O breeze!
You make us freeze
When the frosty winter
Lays icy siege.

O breeze!
Both sour and sweet
Your absence is felt
Both in the winter and the heat!

This is a lovely ode to an element of nature. The rhyming and the flow of the poem, caress as the breeze.

Loved the rhythm and rhyme of this poem, which would make perfectly for lyrics of a song.
