Wives 1 & 3 I made 'miserable', #2 made ME almost crazy.
Wife 4 calls me 'Monster', and, sometimes, she adds: 'lazy'.
Why then, when I proposed marriage, were each 'receptive'?
Along with my charm, good looks & virility I must be deceptive! ! !
'#4' also calls me 'autistic' (I don't mind) , and recently 'a fool',
but it hurts a bit to have to sit, facing a corner, me atop a stool.
Maybe it's all 'payback' for women's suffering over all the ages?
Or, for all my 'husband-mistakes/sins', it's my thus-earned 'wages'?
Oh, well! !

Sometimesany attention is better than being ignored or feeling like you don't exist.some attention is better then no attention.
As for your comment on my marriages/'Monster' poem, I highly agree: SOMETIMES getting (almost) any attention can be better than getting none.
Somehow, in my mind, I cannot fit 'Bri Edwards' and 'monster' into the same sentence.
Amen to what the Cowboy said, Well said, Cowboy! I couldn't have said it better.
DO YOU HAVE ANY GRANDAUGHTERS AVAILABLE? THEY NEEDN'T COMMIT TO 'TOO MANY' YEARS. : ))) bri

I would like to translate this poem
I can see you on your stool, trying to not look like a fool. We only get one life. Who needs more than one wife? Wives make us better, I bet. With practice, you'll be perfect yet!
Well done, good and faithful poet-friend. bri : ) 5 stars for your comment.
