Bri's Shorter P-H " About Me ".....[ Don't Believe What I Said About Poem Comments! ! ; Short; True ]
On my page where my photo shows orange, not blue,
one part of my "About me" just doesn't "ring true".
Perhaps it once was true, but I don't remember why!
The 'bit' disallowing poem comments, I now call a lie! !
Though comments aren't sought and 'never' asked for by me,
you are most welcome to leave a comment of any sort for free.
I know I 'lie' a bit sometimes, in poems & in messages for sure,
but mostly what I write is harmless, &, if not, I'll offer a free cure.

"ring true"[verb phrase]: "To seem to be correct, or plausible."
"bend the truth"[verb phrase]: "to say something that is not true or that misleads people but that is usually not regarded as a serious or harmful lie"
*** i don't expect PH to take action as requested, but, hey! , the site IS FREE! ! !

Ha ha! ! ! i just submitted and read again what i submitted, finding an 'error'. Before i finished editing, before submitting, i must have used the phrase " bend the truth" and affixed, after the poem, the definition for " bend the truth" . But you won't find that phrase in the finished poem. Ho ho! bri :)
