brick by brick
I build my wall
only to feel it slip and fall.
and as I sit amidst the dust
a voice will say, I must I must.
rebuild and on and on
higher and higher, until at last
my wall complete, my life has past
each brick I laid has walled me in
and now
I rest, the last brick squarely
upon my chest, secure at last
A wonderful poem, Harold. Please see my poem - Fortress Thanks for sharing Peace
