Bride Poem by AlishaNoelle Vaughn

Bride

Around the house I went,
in a pretty, long, white dress.
'Round and 'round I twirled,
it was the only thing I wanted in the world.
To be loved unconditionally
To be with the love of my life officially.
I never saw a bride before
I didn't have a t.v. for I was so poor.
This is still my dream,
but every night I awake with a scream.
Will my dream ever come true?
If it does not, foreever I will be blue.
