'Search', I was told,
And search i did;
It went in vain,
She'd vanished somewhere.
Sad as i returned,
I, suddenly, caught a glimpse;
She was once beautiful
And what had changed? Nothing.
Like the bride
With a covered countenance,
Just her smile
Took my breath away.
I waited long
To see more,
But her shyness
Hid her grace.
The eyes to heart to soul
Her image travelled;
And the journey seemed
Like a prayer.
'Oh! It's the moon',
One remarked;
'Yes, she's the one, '
I said.
