Bridge Poem by Ronald Chapman

Bridge

Not able to reach you,
My beautiful Sakura,
A broken bridge,
Separates our hearts.

My beautiful pink flower,
Dreaming of sunny Seoul,

As daylight dims,
Unable to cross this bridge.
In the wilderness of life,

Longing and loneliness,
Fills my Soul.

Bright dreams of you,
As midnight passes,
Flying across the span of time,

Your blossoms tickle my Soul,

Touching your blossoms,
While standing in the South,
In a Seoul spring,

Lightens up my eyes,
With yellow sunshine.

Riding my dreams across the bridge,
Touching your Soul,
Hoping one day,
To hold you in my arms, as my wife.
