Bridge Way! Bridge Way!

On this first day in May,
I tried to think of all the things I wanted to say.

Our time is nearing the end,
I will miss you my friend.

I looked forward to you coming out to smoke,
So we could laugh and joke.

I can never thank you enough,
And saying good bye will be rough.

Kindness is in your face,
Amazing is your grace.
Tenderness is in your heart,
Hopeful and a delight from the start.
You yarn to make a change.

Brave even when life seems strange.
Righteous all the way to the top,
Intrepid and you can't stop.
Dashing and uplifting.
Gallant is your spirit that is always drifting.
Edifying is your smile,
Staunch as you are, I will go the extra mile.

You are a part of my history,
The next chapter in our life is a mystery.

Bridge way, Oh! How I pray,
I wish you could stay.
