Brief Encountners Poem by Corinne R

Brief Encountners

Rating: 2.5

Tis true, we are but ships that pass in the night.
Ships that ultimately sail alone through time and space.
We encounter but briefly in the span of infinity.
We lay anchor for a time in tranquil lagoons
and then set sail weathering the storms.
Passing briefly, swaying lanterns in the night,
riding the tides of time.

We encounter briefly and pass on for nothing dies
we simply sail on to other dimensions.
