Bright Light Shadowed In Darkness Poem by James Craven

Bright Light Shadowed In Darkness

Rating: 5.0

For those that have known me, grew up alongside in a turmoil of an upbringing perpetuated by our desires. Then came the reckoning. Beware of the law. For it is unforgiving in its sentences. Standing by on an island of hope sit the mothers and fathers soaked in shame. For they are the punished ones. We shall then inherit back the earth on the day of the freedom march. Come again, life anew, credit the long sentence in reviving the soul so that we may live again!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a story shared between several friends within the neighborhood of Whittenton in the city of Taunton, Ma. I was just sitting in front of my computer and it came to me. I haven't written in a while. I did write a book once. A 500 page novel, never tried to do anything with it.
