There’s a town I love to visit
Gotebo is the name
Even after many years
It’s pretty much the same
Oh sure, you’ll find structures
That are in need of repair
But it doesn’t really matter
In that fresh small-town air
I guess it’s just a ghost town
But really it could change
Move in a few families
It would snap right back the same
Sweep off the sidewalk
Dust inside the stores
Just like a ship
That’s brought back onto shore
Of course you’d need some maintenance
On those barns from long ago
A few boards nailed together
They’d be good as new, you know
Oh well, maybe it’s not that easy
To bring back buildings from the past
So let’s grab up our camera
Take pictures while they last!

I would like to translate this poem
Seems such a shame the town is a little forgotten
