Bri's Big Lies Aka The Lie That Is Bri Edwards…. [ Don't Believe A Word I Say; Tongue-In-Cheek? ]
You think you know this fine poet, Bri,
but don't believe it. I'll tell you why.
I'm NOT the handsome dude you all love,
and I've not come….from Heaven above!
'My' photo's of an actor, one NOT famous.
I'm NOT J. Christ, Moses, or even an Amos.
AND
I've NOT been wed 4 times, not even once.
I'm NOT real smart; I'm truly a true dunce.
I do NOT eat ice cream.......NO, NOT ever.
I'm NOT witty, no! NOT even a bit clever.
My writing's NOT funny. Believe, you, me!
NOR is it serious! I'll NOT..... deceive thee.
I have NOT worked a single day in my life,
and I'm ALWAYS happy. I deal with NO strife!
I don't give a D-A-M-N how you all may write.
Poor grammar? NO problem! I'll NOT fight…
…to make corrections or suggestions. Golly, no!
However YOU write, I will ‘go with YOUR flow'.
BUT the biggest lie of my poor life is just THIS:
I'm the biggest ‘lyingest' ** poet here. (Kiss, kiss!)

I am back to give more comments..... As regards second stanza, I can't comment on status and your wants in life. I have read many poems you have submitted on this site and in my humble opinion they are crafted with wit and humor.
Poetry or any art never springs out of nowhere. You must have knowledge, wit and talent to bring something to your readers.
Hmmm! Bri, although you are the lyingest poet on ph, as is N Modi among the 1400 m in India, unlike him, this time you are telling the truth.

Your third stanza is an utter lie. You never go with the flow of any writer. Sometimes you overdo your review. An interesting poem, Bri. Well expressed.

The first stanza of your poem speaks of physical appearance and probably character and since we Poets here at PH meet online, we don't have any clue if your words are true or pure lies.
