Britis Politics Poem by GORDON SAUNDERS

Britis Politics

British politics
we're supposed to get our say
Why the hells our country being ran this way
Black, white, straight or gay
another day, yet more dismay
The house of commons what a joke
Its enough to make any man boke
Numbing the pain by having a toke.
Maggie, she destroyed the coal miner
Said buy your own home it'll make you finer
Blair tried to turn it all round
Said everything would turn out sound
Brown, by god the mans a clown
Gonna take this country down
The specials sang Ghostown back in '81
Back when the days where really glum
Now i can see those days re-appear
Filling us all with o so much fear
Benefit cheats on the rob
Trying to dodge doing a job
The politicians are not any better
2nd home in london, jet setter
fidling expenses it makes me sick
f**k me they are taking the mick
So what happens now do they hand it all back? ?
Pack in their jobs or face the sack?
Try making them work for the minimum wage
Im sure they'd all be full of rage.
