Broken Poem by Elizabeth Clair

Broken

You were my only love,
My hopes and dreams.
We were inseparable and happy.
Then you started to change,
And act so strange,
It’s like you didn’t want me around anymore.
You thought we weren’t doing well,
Well that’s just swell.
You left me alone, cold, and torn,
I felt so worn and used.
You’re just a selfish boy,
I was just a toy.
I was Broken,
And I was lonely.
But now I found someone new,
Someone so much better than you.
I am no longer broken.
I am no longer lonely.
I found my true love that really cares for me.
We were simply meant to be.
