Broken Poem by Amanda May Moore

Broken

broken

prayerfully awoken
a heart that cannot be
broken

a life full of beauty
trials and tests a faith
on duty

when all else fails
having faith pulls back
all veils

opening the eyes
to a life in God; a love
that never dies

an umbrella to shelter you
through the storm, a heart
so true

no white flags on this ship
because He forever will
equip

giving us all we could ever
need, through the good and bad
whichever

so no jumping overboard
you'll be restored in the
Lord

He has sent people into
our lives, manning our ship
to keep the shore in view

and to remind us to
of His love forever
pursue
