broken
Anger has found a staunch friend
in a heart that beats with foul mood,
disappointment wins in the end,
voiced in tongue fierce and rude.

hope lays battered and extinguished
molested by tempered abhorrence,
dreams crushed and relinquished
butchered by savage intolerance.

There is no prosthesis for broken spirit,
We must all heal ourselves.
Life is better with you in it
Reject the hate which love dispels
