Caught my boyfriend cheating
It was a love story
We loved each other very much dearly
People would say it's just a sad story
But what they don't know is it's my life story.

He left me at home looking like a fool
His food, frigid and cool
I asked him for a motive
For being too remote.

He said they met at the gym
A friend made at the gym
I didn't know who he was
Until I met 'him'.

Wanting to give him a wonder
Home early I came
To find a shocker
For me, it waits.

I caught them in the act
It struck me like lightning
Sudden and strong
It struck me deep
Giving me a scar so deep and long.

It pierced my heart
Took my body apart
Leaving a few little pieces together
And not apart.

A conversation with my best friend
Telling me it wasn't the end
This was how I knew
The end wasn't here
