Broken Heart Poem by Dwayne Erasmus

Broken Heart

Sorrow mounted on His soul
And reminders of her where he goes
Oh how sweet those times
Only to every stay in my mind

Only yesterday a soul in tune with love
And blue skies forecasted for life
But today misfortune is written in the cove
And grey clouds to cause us to strife

Oh love leave this soul
Torment a new heart
For that's your art
Never impart
On my heart

Rather feed me to the dogs
For they have more grace
Go now before I long again
Stay there and never return till the end
