On this dark and hopeless night
all in life is a blur and I can’t seem to care
what am I in her sight
am I even there

she told me not to worry
and that she was willing to wait
now she says im sorry
with you I don’t want to date

she’s the only one I told, I love you
except for my mom and my dad
I want to keep those sacred words to few
what can you expect but for me to be sad

all these questions in my head
why the change of heart?
why did you say what you’ve said?
what will I do when I can’t stand to be apart?

I can’t stop my heart from crying
why did you let it get this far?
it feels as if im dying
I will love you as long as the night sky has a star
