Broken Life Of Dreams Poem by Marianne Keplinger

Broken Life Of Dreams

Rating: 5.0

The anger came, and the wind blew
Tigers roar and the mountains trembled
The cubs cried and lost their life
Tears are shed and then ignored

Held against her will in emotions
Afraid to let go in fear in depth
What to do when life is gone
Never let go from the pain

Volcanoes erupt with untamed love
Out of nowhere comes the shame
The forest is full of trees and grass
Yet, nothing can be seen of life

Wanting to come together again
Just to see everything disappear
What is the darkness I feel?
Where does this make sense anymore?

I love the use of metaphores! ! ! Putting a picture into peopples heads about somehting they know about and bringing it into feelings. I love the use of it and your poetry is beautifully layed out.
