Selfish Pride Poem by Marianne Keplinger

Selfish Pride

Children are defenseless
We as adults are greedy
Living free in life
Pain is in depth

Spirits are confused
Fatih is distorted
Understanding disturbance
Love is unfair

Unfortunate Peace
Dying children
Orphans in fear
Lifting up Grace

Meaningless circumstances
Lifeless Purpose
Abandonment of ourselves
Guilt of hope.

I have to say that this piece has a lot of fealing in it. Marianne seems to be one of the few who see the truth of our selfish being and is able to try make people see thier faults in a cleaver way. I give her great praise for the beautiful poem of truths in our world and our minds.
