Broken Mirror Poem by Deep Mukherjee

Broken Mirror

Rating: 4.2

The two sides of mirror
One side I stand alone
Other side I see myself alone!
Who am I really?
The one who smiles
Or the one who pretends?
The one who asks
Or the one who listens?
One who searches answers
Or the one stands perplexed?
One who stands strong
Or one Who's breaking down?
Or am I the mirror?
Broken inside and outside;
The two persons you see
Nothing but mere fallacy;
Fallacies - there are so so many!
For now I choose to be me
Many will change and pass
The one remains for eternity.............

Beautiful, because of the dialectical projection of the speaker's persona.. Ambiguity leads to Realization! WHAT ELSE IS LEFT IN UR POEM? It is Nothing! Nothing! And, ......... Silence! Very Promising Talent you hv, Mr.Deep Mukherjee! Thank u!
