Broken Wing Poem by Aaron(AarionLee) Morris

Broken Wing

Rating: 5.0

Shattered dreams these visions I fight
My eyes grow weary of the sleepless night
Into the future I believe the realm
My dreams take me there, a captain at the healm

I see hatered and dispair a world turned wild
The broken wing of an angel, the cry of a starving child
The millennium upon us distrust in our hearts
The beginning of the end tearing us apart

The widow may weep, the mother may cry
But the Reaper he smiles, another soldier to fight
Distruction I see to come over time
Death is waiting in the flash of the light

Brother against brother, insanity in thier eyes
The rising fears until someone dies
The future unleashed like a wild animal from a cage
A Prophet? Who is too say, the beginning of a new age

Under a harvest moon, in the future to come
The reality to begin, survival has begun
