Broomstick Buckaroo Poem by Marilyn Lott

Broomstick Buckaroo

Horses, cows and red dirt roads
That’s how his world goes
Nothing else matters at all
So easily each day flows

It’s a simple life for sure, my friend
No stress, no worry, no fuss
Just feed those animals every day
Peacefulness is the only must

Far as the eye can see there are
Fields of natural grasses
Cows gather in little groups
Content as each day passes

Best way to raise a little kid
So many things that he can do
The very best life that there can be
For a Broomstick Buckaroo!
