Brown Eyes Poem by Widow Emerson

Brown Eyes

The feel of those brown eyes staring at my neck
For this one moment of planned regret
Getting lost in the depths beyond them
For all all of the emotional baggage i thrust upon him
To think he would love me for ever
(You played the fool)
To think i was just that clever....
(Now you're lying upon a crimson pool)
Maybe i can make him stay.....
(This battle you fight, has just begun)
There's no way things were meant to be this way.....
(Dont let him think he's won) .....
