Budding Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Budding

The young ones.
Budding quick and manipulative.
Although...
Cuddly, adorable and cute.
From a crawl to then walk talking.
Should be encouraged and early,
To make their own decisions.
With a learning done whether wrong or right.
Obtaining experiences,
As they take steps into life.
Teaching excuses made is not acceptable.
Or placing blame on others to claim,
Okay.

The budding, cute and young ones.
Should be granted the opportunity,
To remember and never forget...
They will be held responsible.
And accountable for every decision they make.
Without attempting to have someone else,
Pay the consequences and the price...
For the rest of their mistake making lives,
Regretting their advice once to have given.
Trying to protect,
The budding, cute and adorable young ones...
From facing the ups and downs of reality.
And those re-occurring disappointments.
Done to come unexpectedly.

Yet left they are...
Those WISE advice givers.
Truth and reality snatchers.
Helplessly listening,
To the cute, adorable crawl to walk...
Now disrespectful filthy mouth adults.
Making childish accusations.
About who did what when to prevent them,
From living their lives to do their way.
As they please. Corrupted by entitlements.

However...
Much too late it is to realize,
A threatening to warn...
Of a name and address change.
Made many years ago.
Will have no affect effective enough,
When already known...
By the budding quick and adorable young ones,
Who has manipulated 'who'.
To learn just what to do,
With a customize, skillful and sucessfully done...
Aggravation.
To get what they want to have their way!

"How rude.
How crude.
How thoughtless and selfish you have become."

-Shut up!
Where is my inheritance you promised? -
