I used to love reading those old Burma-Shave signs along the highway when I was a kid. The whole family loved them, in fact. We would all read them out loud together (at least the kids would) . Dad was too busy driving and Mom's eyesight, even with corrective lenses, was not good enough to read them going by that fast.
Saw some of the signs for sale once at a place back East, but they wanted a fortune for them. I wasn't feeling QUITE that nostalgic!
