Burn Poem by Collin Hagan

Let the picture burn
in the flames you once sat by
forget all that you once knew
and prepare for the endless nights you stay up and cry
what would you do to get her back
the things you said you would
but then you realized you never could
sat it aflame, leave it to burn
just think, soon it will be your turn
no more lonely nights, just an eternal sleep
vision blurry, breath is short
you see the light, but can't go toward it
alive again
forever alone, never with her
let it burn........
