Burn My Memories Poem by Don Skuravy

Burn My Memories

My mind wonders through, years of my existence,
Wondering what I have become in spite of your persistence.
I never realized what you mean, until placed upon your shelf.
Walking through shadows, millions past before, I see now that life doesn’t last and love is just a whore.
The suns shine through my soul from above,
I feel the burn of my memories true love.
Walking through my mind, as if no one could take the blade.
Remembering the love I had and the good times that we made.
I am ready to face my fears and show you my dark soul,
I am ready to say goodbye and let my true love go
