He always said he'd love me
Forever it was I
Someone very special
I never questioned why
And when he used to tell me
Forever are our ties
I believed every word he said
But they were all just lies

For soon he did betray me
Left me all alone
It was over in a blink
Sadly I bemoan
He left me for a another girl
I saw our love’s demise
He said I’d find happiness soon
But they were all just lies

He did leave something for me
Some scars in my heart
That would never heal with time
He tore my heart apart
I shall live my life with pain
With sadness in my eyes
I trusted every word he said
But they were all just lies
