Butterfly Poem by Dr Shamim ali

Butterfly

She comes daily to grace my garden
Above the blissful lush green lawn
Smells marigold, takes in the delicious nectar
Heaving a sigh, oh, there she dives,
quivering along the skyline
Sits on every flower
Among the brightest flowers
I watch her as she flies
Azure, blue and lush green,
Everyone adores her beauty,
One of God's great reward that we've seen,
So much of pride there that she carries
So conceited she seems,
Drifting across the sky
Oh enough..! she again leaps
I gaze at her as she moves smoothly
Seeing her delightful realm,
My anguish and pain go away,
As I watch her soar!
