Butterfly Garden Poem by JOHNNY COBB

Butterfly Garden

Near the banks of the Rio Palmas
In the heart of Costa Rica
Lies a tropical paradise
In the small town of Pocora.

A spectacular butterfly garden
Located in a gigantic tent
Shows a slice of the rain forest.
Every moment here is time well spent.

The 'owl' butterfly is the largest
And there are hundreds of blue morphos too.
Stroll over to the ripe pineapple
For an incredible close-up view.

Wander through this lush green oasis
Where you'll also find red eyed leaf frogs.
Step cautiously midst flora and fauna
And see cocoons near an old rotting log.

As butterflies flutter 'round fresh flowers
Looking for their next nectar treat
You'll long remember the tranquility.
This natural scenery just can't be beat.
