Buzzing Nymph Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Buzzing Nymph

Played
Round and round
The buzzing nymph
Bee-like seeking
The sweet and the beautiful
She played
Till on a thistle
She
Pricked her finger white
Came forth
A tiny bead of red
Blood.
