Perhaps the lesson learnt by Jove,
In the timeless gleaming night,
Held wisdoms pitied heartache,
For the vanquished, untarnished
Shining knight?
The sirens enchanted taunt of folly,
Betrayed all souls to misery,
And deftly follow mortal’s proud
To cripple, maim, to melancholy.
For ignorance fanned fates sacrifice,
Dampened is Zeus’s thunder,
That game of life is surreptitious
Eons gone -
With life’s, magic mystery of wonder.
Then apocalyptical, philosophic woe
Capsized in panaceas delight,
When a frightened childs held tightly -
Mocks them… the terrors of the night?
Fates injustice and forbearance learnt
That a man who loves has sorrow.
And death is the human passage towards
Immortalities tomorrow!
'So…take heart, By Jove, love today -
And love again tomorrow! '
