By Love's Beginning

Within the eternity of my soul, I
knew before our meeting that there
is a courage in the creed
of the ether unseen between us. We
breathed in union through all
of time and before...

The smallest part of me, an atom, is
a force when brought into the blessing
by love's beginning. It breathed
into me my heart's ache, which
yearned for your fragrance in
fields of gossamer gold...

There is no need to hold you, to
gently stroke your face or the small
curve of your lovely lower back or
touch the tears of your joy as they curl
upon your cheeks in glory known. By
being here on earth this day, my love...

I will know it's sustenance in the
longing for your embrace...
