Café' Of Dawn Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

Café' Of Dawn

Café' of Dawn
The dawn did not build it;
Night built; left it there;
When the whole stars
Withdrew; dawn came
Saw it and used it
I was there, a Poet-Seer
I saluted Dawn; she smiled
She allowed me
To take a photo of her;
But after she departed
Taking the photo out
I just saw mists, mists
Blinding.

Widow
Of
The
Sun
Unhappy
Heart
Broken
My
Tongue
Wants
To
Say
Much
It
Will
Not
Speak
A
Word.

Café' of Dawn
The dawn did not build it;
Night built; left it there;
When the whole stars
Withdrew; dawn came
Saw it and used it
I was there, a Poet-Seer
I saluted Dawn; she smiled
She allowed me
To take a photo of her;
But after she departed
Taking the photo out
I just saw mists, mists
Blinding.
