Caged Flowers Poem by Eddie Roa

Caged Flowers

Rating: 4.3

flowers caged in a glass
bouquet imprisoned within
then crystals shattered by
a wayward hand
a sunburst of fragrant beams
scattered on the wet doily
announced the felony
but unconfined blessings
now released to bring
joy and pleasure to all
look away now
for once abet a sin
