Calculate Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Calculate

I learned to calculate,
And it was a difficult calculation.
I learned to calculate to a precise precision.
That was a great scientific decision.

In my chemical lab,
I kept tab,
Of what I could calculate,
While I thought and sat.

In precision or accuracy,
I knew it's important efficacy.
I calculated scientific.
For every number, I loved it.

I used spectrum wavelength,
I made calculations,
Significant digits,
Causing delights and lab elation.

I learned to hear the lab laughter,
When my friends used a calculation,
That caused the entire lab,
To turn into ACCURATE jubilation.
