Call Of Nature Poem by maria fisher

Call Of Nature

A loud row rumble over and over again
the flash of light so bright you could feel the pain
only white u see not even a tree
as it falls heavily upon the earth
washed away everyting in sight even the dirt
everything feels wet and cold
i just want someone to hold
a day to be under your sheet
snuggle up on something warm and sweet
when would this day be over
it's as dark as night
no one or thing in sight
except for the waste of garbage
rolls down the hillside
finally the rowing and flashing of lights stops
only the distance rowing you hear
and the sound of running water from the drains
as everthing gets quite and calm, but still dark
we wait for the whiteness to disappear
and brighten up the earth
as everything getting back to normal
you hear sounds of human amd man made
the dark, cold and wet day have done for now

A very lovely and descriptive piece. I hope you are ready for this hurricane season.
