Calming Storm Poem by cecil hickman

Calming Storm

Rating: 5.0

To the top of the hill, I climbed so fast.
To see if my eyes, could reveal the past,
Before the rage, the silence overridden,
Out of the gilded cage, I am forbidden.
To see tortoise; beat the hare in race,
Is like a 4-wheel pickup in space.
Out of the fire, jump back in the pan.
You are spryer now; just kick the can.
Take all my money and leave me with love.
Each will be happier with Angels above.
Star falling, star falling, down so very fast.
Take heart of my wish, so our love will last.
What storm; takes away my loves heart?
Tracing calming passion, we grow apart.

Thanks so much for sharing this well written poem. To wish upon a star for love that comes true... This fiery racing star will wipe from my heart my lonesomest song so blue. Starlight starbright... I wish for love for me this lonliest dark night. I wish i may or wish love stay... Hope for love to come this day my way. Great poem. God bless all poets-MJG.
