Came Knocking At My Door

Came Knocking At My Door

Who can it be knocking at my door?
Could it be my true love who I will adore?

To calm the storms and rocky roads for me,
To hug and hold him so close next to me.

To hold me so ever tight in his arms
To shelter me from life's little harms.

To kiss me so gently as we embrace,
I see that glow that smiles upon his face!

To feel that touch of his hands on me,
You will give me hope, peace and serenity!

So when you came knocking at my door,
I will love you through all my life forever more
