Camouflage Poem by Ahmad Shiddiqi

Camouflage

Rating: 5.0

(dedicated to Jillian Scott)

We sent our sons, daughters to Harvard
Monkeys beg stars not to sink, not to sleep
You sings beautifully Shinjitsu No Uta
Whom I have to deliver these tears?
I walk around gladly the city of Perth
Without your guide, fireflies won’t die

(inspired by Scorpions’ Believe in Love)
