Campfire Poem by Lento Maez

Campfire

Rating: 5.0

The shadows grew dark
As the sun lost its glow
But wouldn’t you know
Someone found a spark
Soon warm fires were lit
All the campers did sit
A few tales were told
Some crazy and bold
A few were risqué
What can I say
As the embers lost their glow
We knew it was time to go
As we closed up camp
Loaded the boat from the ramp
All headed for home
No more time to roam
