Can You? Poem by Alexander Foald

Can You?

Can you hear those sounds at night?
Sounds that sing the same song for you
All over the town and down the street
Every place where the moon can reach on

Can you feel the air at night?
The breeze which brings smell from ocean
It catches my breath as I’m taking deep
Barely forget where I used to taste it

Can you tell who’s holding you tonight?
These arms you’ve longed for days and nights
The same dream will never be caught again
Since I’m here now beside your heart

I can hear your voice in my head
I can feel you breathing smoothly behind my ear
I can tell how much you miss me tonight
It’s just the same way when I think about you
