Can You Master? Poem by Doug Bri

Can You Master?

Can you master a farewell?
A goodbye with no bitter tears?
A saiyanara without any fears?

Please just leave

A fork in the road taking your path without looking back?
No regrets? How about now that we have met once again?

Or those days where we have no reason to talk?
Or those nights where we long?

A fiddler on the roof plays a sad tune for all to hear
His heart...

While there is joy and sorrow is nothing but the shadow

Can you understand their pain now?
If it is so easily to live with why cant you learn from it?
If it is so easy to forget it why can you show me no emotion?

My shell is weak against you
My heart is driven to surpass you
While my mind is calculating how to live without you

And that is what is driving me to keep on moving

The mathematical equations for farewells as i am abandon here
On this empty field, stranded i begin my way back

Watch me mature into that man you wanted

But right now i am a helpless soldier

Without a map i begin my journey to an empty house,

Can we move on now... Dont move i plead
