Cancer Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

Cancer

Rating: 5.0

I can recognize that trembling voice
When spring descends wearing new robes;
Flippant clouds bear the sun in their frayed edges
To invite the butterflies during cracking of the sky;
One can't decide whether to sing or not; play
Tricks with curved planet of a leaf or not; revel
In the midst of diurnal swing of clipped wings
Or not; a miasma enraptured in the realm of dreams;
I can catch the essence a restless heart
Beating in rhythm with slipping second of night;
The worn out hair can't hide the pillow where upon
Tear of pallid season makes caricature of a crab.
