Cannibals ‎ Poem by Hamid eldood Mahdi

Cannibals ‎

‎ A small ambitious elf kept on
‎ Galloping galloping rapidly, ‎
‎ Panting heavily to scramble
‎ Over a rocky mountain! ‎
‎ This road is untrodden neither
‎ By Dwarves, nor giants.‎
‎ Not a short walk to roll up in a day, ‎
‎ Poor experience curbs the advance. ‎

Great glory is the citadel ‎
Upon which aspiration is sealed.‎
Treading the road to set up the ‎
Flag is not an easy journey ‎
As many Dwarves think! ‎
It is a thorny task, ‎
Pregnant with challenges ‎
Throng with sacrifices! ‎

The elf insists to reach ‎
the Peak victoriously, ‎
Ignoring the price of
‎ Such a leap in the dark! ‎
Plunging into the evil means of vice, ‎
Will never seat the elf on high castle.‎

Temptations are irresistible -‎
Only for the weak, ‎
The weak before the irresistible ‎
Temptations lose conscience.‎
The conscience is what we await for
‎ To return from the meander! ‎
